Pete Coggins as Isaiah the Flounder

Playing a pessimistic flounder is never easy, but Pete Coggins, blues and R & B singer, dove right in like he was born on the bottom of the ocean. Those are sidewise eyeballs on the top of his head. That flounder costume meant that Pete could only waddle. Nonetheless he sang one of the most moving ballads in the show. Pete was a natural for comic opera and a real trouper, but he was only too happy to return to fronting his band The Soul Searchers .
